Social process--collaborative action : Mary Kelly 1970-75
Mary Kelly (Künstler/in, Autor des hinzugefügten Kommentars), Judith Mastai (Kurator/in, Herausgeber/in), Charles H. Scott Gallery (Gastinstitution)
It is particularly relevant that the Charles H. Scott Gallery mount this exhibition of Mary Kelly's work from 1970-1975. Through her political engagement and social activism as manifested in her art, writing, and teaching, Kelly has had a significant influence on the development of women's art practice in Canada and Internationally. The Gallery's location within a post-secondary institution allows the work to be presented in a context in which the pedagogical and historical relevance can be fully explored by both the community within the institution and the public.
