This video describes a system of new employee interviewing developed by Tom Janz at the University of Calgary, called "behavior description interviewing." This system involves questions that require individuals being interviewed to think of the actions they performed in specific past work experiences. This technique is useful in cutting through the good impressions candidates wish to project when asked traditional interview questions, and assists organizations in increasing the likelihood of hiring the best candidate
