Copy A: the plates (mostly signed [Lorenzo] Aureli, some with dates 1843, 1844 and 1845 are probably those of the first edition. The lithographed title page (credited to G. Pancaldi, 1839) was probably added from a later edition alon with the letterpress wrappers -- Copy B: includes impressions from stones used for the first edition, along with new plates copied from those of the earlier edition but with changes and deletions of both publisher and printer and deletion of dates on most plates; watermarks of the papers also indicates plates in this copy are from first and subsequent editions.
