From Claus to Christ, 2001
Collection of stories about family Christmas celebrations. Bonner attempts to establish, through the catalyst of folklore, that Christmas is a Christ-centered, rather then a Santa-centered, tradition. Many of the stories focus on a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint interpretation of Christmas and its place in religious understandings and practice. Bonner uses William Bascom's four function of folklore to describe how the Christmas stories and traditions can be classified as folklore
