[Papyrus fragments of private letters]
Glass panel (229 x 179 mm.) containing three papyrus fragments. Item 14 dates to the 8th century A.D., measuring 67 x 27 mm. According to Browne (no. 6 in his 1979 study), this papyrus contains the formula for a private letter, and is broken off on all but the top. Note that an earlier inventory identifies this papyrus as a fragment of a tax receipt dating to the 7th century. Item 15 is a fragment of a private letter dating to the 5th-6th centuries A.D., measuring 77 x 73 mm. Item 16 is a fragment of a private letter dating to the 7th-8th centuries A.D., measuring 85 x 65 mm
