Ben Waserman, a Jewish Holocaust survivor, was born in Berlin, Germany on June 21, 1929. Helped smuggle two families out of Germany. Father was arrested in 1941. He and his mother taken to Terezin (Theresienstadt) in 1942. Liberated by Red Army in 1945. Three months in Dagandorf displaced person camp. Came to United States in 1946
