I learn from children

This is the story of Caroline Pratt. After training as a teacher and disappointment in the traditional classroom methods, Pratt opened what is now known as the City and Country School in New York City's Greenwich Village in 1914. Starting with six neighborhood children, Pratt effectively used methods that were considered heretical at the time. Today the City and Country School is still in operation and is considered one of America's outstanding schools
