אוצר נחמד : כולל אגרות יקרות מאת חכמי זמננו בעניני האמונה והחכמה

Ozar Nechmad ("lovely treasure") was a collection of Hebrew letters, notes and poems by the great Jewish scholars of the 19th century. Published in Vienna by the well-to-do businessman Ignaz Blumenfeld, Ozar Nechmad was intended to promote the new Hebrew literature. He put together Ozar Nechmad from letters he had exchanged with prominent Jewish scholars like Isaac Reggio, Solomon Rapoport and Samuel David Luzzatto, but also included in the latest research from scholars of the Wissenschaft des Judentums movment (Science of Judaism movement). In the introduction to the first volume, Abraham Geiger wrote, "[w]ith this text, you [Ignaz Blumenfeld] certainly lead a beautiful springtime of a newly awakened, lovingly warm study of Jewish literature before the souls of your readers as well as me."
