Walk on, walk on ... : Hutt Valley Riding for the Disabled 1978-2018
"The story of the Hutt Valley Riding For The Disabled Association covers 40 years since the first small group met in 1978. With the help of the local Pony Club and volunteers they established a new branch of the nationwide NZRDA, providing safe and professional riding programmes for people of all ages with various disabilities. With generous help and community goodwill, especially from the Wellington Racing Club in the early years, the group grew and realised their dream of acquiring land, purpose-designed facilities and certainty for the riders. Today from County Lane, Silverstream, HVRDA provides for riders under all weather condition. This is their success story and a springboard moment for their assured future."--Back cover
