Precautions against death
Memoirs of a Dutch girl (born 1930) on her wartime experiences. Describes the hiding of four Jews in the house of her mother, in Amersfoort, from 1942 until the liberation - the fear of detection, the preparation of secret hiding places in case of raids, and the problem of obtaining enough food which was temporarily solved by knitting 55 socks in exchange for food.
