Each weapon is illustrated with photographs and its salient features are described. Standard guns, captured equipment in German service and tapered-bore guns, are among the classes of weapon. The most important guns are also illustrated with scale drawings of value to the modeller. In general the book deals only with purpose-built anti-tank guns but one or two other types adapted for anti-tank use (for example the 8•8 cm Flak 18/36) are also included because of their importance in the anti-tank role.
