Still mobile : Larissa Hjorth
Still Mobile presents the infinite regress of mobile screens. Screens within screens, screens across screens, urban spaces are being transformed through a series of mobile phone exercises. Still Mobile takes a snapshot of the mediated moment when the mobile phone user decides to narrate and defer the experience. One's mobile co-presence is further echoed by a survellient spectre in the form of another, an unknown watching mobile phone - waiting until it sees a mobile moment and then renders it into a sea of infinite regress. Still Mobile consists of a series of mobile phone images of people in public taking pictures via their mobile phones.
