Presents a critical study and catalogue raisonné of the German landscape painter Richard von Poschinger (1839-1915). Of the illustrations of his paintings that accompany the text 16 are in color and 16 in black and white. The catalogue lists 484 paintings, almost all of which are accompanied by black and white reproductions of the work. Following the catalogue are a list of exhibitions in which Poschinger's work was shown, lists of auctions and auction houses that featured the artist's paintings, and a list of places in Europe where he lived and visited
