Magnetic and electronic transitions in neodymium(1-x) titanium oxide: A study of correlation effects

This thesis presents a comparative study of a number of physical property measurements to understand the effect of correlations at magnetic and electronic transitions in the neodymium deficient Nd1-xTiO 3 (NTO) system. For NTO, it is found that hole-doping the antiferromagnetic (AF) Mott insulator NdTiO3, stabilizes a paramagnetic (PM) metallic state at x = 0.098(10). Some important results are as follows
