The Kraków ghetto and the Płaszów camp remembered

Describes the author's experiences in Kraków and Lvov during the Holocaust. In March 1943, the Jews of Kraków were sent to the nearby Płaszów labor camp where many died from beatings, or were shot or hanged. In the autumn of 1944, transports to Auschwitz began. In January 1945 the remaining camp inmates were transferred to numerous concentration camps. Graf emigrated to the U.S. in 1947.
