La banque sous l'Occupation : paradoxes de l'histoire d'une profession : 1936-1946
The law of 2 June 1941 forbade Jews to practice in the banking profession. Pp. 268-279 deal with the Aryanization of enterprises by the Commissariat General aux Questions Juives, and its section Direction de l'Aryanisation Economique. Describes the activities of this institution and concludes that documents studied do not give a clear image of the Aryanization process. Concludes, as well, that the Direction did not manifest opposition to the antisemitic legislation but neither was it strict in applying the law.
