Deals with the occupation of the northwest part of Romania by the Hungarian regime of Miklós Horthy and its treatment of the Romanian population. Includes information on the Jewish population (p. 176-195) - conditions in concentration camps, acts of terror, lack of food, forced labor, etc. After the Nazi occupation of Hungary in 1944 the terror increased.
