A recollection of civil rights leader Elizabeth Peratrovich, 1911-1958
Consists of copies of papers relating to the efforts of Elizabeth and Roy Peratrovich to end discrimination against natives in Alaska. Included are correspondence between them and various territorial, state, and federal officials concerning discrimination against natives by the military in Alaska during World War II, the passage of the Anti-Discrimination Act, originals and copies of newspaper articles, and other papers. Does not include Elizabeth Peratrovich's legislative testimony on the Anti-Discrimination Act
