The Latino encyclopedia
A handsome six volume set organized in traditional encyclopedic format and featuring an array of entries dedicated to Latino subjects and interests. The set offers articles on people, organizations, geography, history, entertainment, religion, family life, literature, and art. Entries vary in length, are cross referenced, include bibliographic sources, and are listed in italicized Spanish in the cases of concepts not yet mainstream in English. The editors have attempted to distinguish between countries and ethnic orientation among the diverse Latino population. The final volume includes comprehensive lists of businesses, educational institutions, films, and organizations. c. Book News Inc
