Fearless beadwork : improvisational peyote stitch : handwriting & drawings from hell
Scott is an African American artist, born and raised in Baltimore, MD. She often addresses subjects in her art such as politics and popular culture. The singular element that she is most well known for is her work with beads and beading that she uses in sculptural work, and jewelry. She has successfully bridged the craft-fine art divide with many of her works. Fearless Beadwork is a beading how-to handbook, and comic book where the artist is the superhero. Many contemporary beading practitioners found this beading tutorial approachable in both style and content. There is even a glossary of terms near the end of the book"-- Thomas J.
