The War Reporter : the Anglo-Boer War through the eyes of the burghers
Tells the story of the Boer War from the Burghers' point of view through an imaginery pro Boer newspaper 'The War Reporter'. The articles and reporters never actually existed, the idea of this work is to create an account of the course of the war in its totality as it would have appeared had such a newspaper been in publication. Focuses on the life of the soldiers on commando as well as military actions. Seeks to convey the atmosphere in Boer South Africa during the war
