New worlds, new steps : social dancing 1780-1900

"The material in this book has been researched from original sources by Ellis and Chris Rogers and Chrystelle Trump Bond, and prepared by them for the [Dolmetsch Historical Dance] Society's Summer School at Hengrave Hall, Suffolk in 2004. The book itself has been divided into two sections, each of which is accompanied by a CD of the dance music: Dances from Europe, dances researched by Ellis and Chris Rogers, music played by Stuart Marsden; Dances from America 1790-[1876], dances researched by Chrystelle Trump Bond, music arranged by H. Gene Griswold and played by Towson Early Music [Ensemble]."
