William Pixley of Hadley, Northampton, and Westfield, Mass., and some of his descendants
William Pixley (d.1689), probably an English immigrant, was in Hadley, Massachusetts during or before 1663, and married Sarah Lawrence (d. 1713). In 1668 he moved to Northampton, and about 1680 he moved to Westfield (now Springfield), Massachusetts. William and Sarah had eight children. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Wyoming and elsewhere
