An employment agency sends Gregory, a dunce, when Porky Pig needs to hire a watchman to keep the fox away from his chicken coop. However, the fox is a wily creature, and when he is caught, the fox convinces Gregory to let him go. On the way out the fox takes a wrong turn, entering the incubator, and is locked in. By the time Porky arrives to let him out, the fox has been turned by the incubator into a midget-sized version of his former self
