The Masked Marvel later unmasks at the Subiaco stadium to reveal himself as US wrestler Walter Miller. (see story in the West Australian 22 Feb. 1929, p.4) He should not be confused with South African wrestler Johannes van der Walt who also wrestled as the Masked Marvel
