Allelverteilung Y-chromosomaler Short Tandem Repeats in Vorpommern
This thesis presents a population genetic study of the Y-chromosomal STR's DYS19, DYS385, DYS390, DYS391, DYS392, DYS393, DYS389I, DYS389II and YCAll in the western pomeranian region (Northeast Germany). Investigating 208 samples derived from routine paternity testing of the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Greifswald 193 different extended haplotypes could be found including twelve haplotypes which were detected in more than one (and up to three) person(s). In contrast, 183 different minimal haplotypes were found, of which 15 haplotypes occurred in more than one (and up to four) person(s). The PD (Power of Discrimination) for the minimal and the extended haplotype is 0,993 and 0,994, respectively. Regarding single STR's the PD-values are 0,66 for DYS19, 0,73 for DYS390, 0,51 for DYS391, 0,57 for DYS392, 0,33 for DYS393, 0,80 for DYS385, 0,59 for DYS389I, 0,76 for DYS389ll, 0,83 for DYS389I/II, and 0,74 in YCAII. These results are in accordance with data from other European studies
