McKinlay (administrator of the estate of William McKinlay, deceased) v. Archibald McKinlay et al. include legal notes partly relating to the sale of property to William McKinlay by the Brown Fellowship Society of Charleston in 1855. Correspondents include S.A. McKinlay (in New York) and F.S. Stillson of Charleston. According to the documents, William McKinlay died intestate in 1872, and his widow was Sarah Jane McKinlay
