Guillaume Sarchet (ca. 1690-1745) was born in Normandy and died in St. Peter Port, Guernsey. Among his descendants, one family of brothers and a sister, children of Thomas Sarchet (born ca. 1750) came to Ohio in 1806. Descendants lived in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Texas, Colorado, and elsewhere
