Geraldo de Barros was a multiple and skilled artist in drawing, photography, painting, printmaking and design furniture. In addition, he participated strongly in avant-garde groups like XV, Ruptura, Rex and Foto Cine Clube Bandeirantes. His works have been exhibited in many museums and galleries around the world, and added to the most relevant international art collections. The book "Geraldo de Barros: It", is an historic rescue of one of the pioneers of concrete art in Brazil. Organized by his daughter and curator of his art legacy, Fabiana de Barros presents a comprehensive overview of the artistic work of the noted artist, his influences and his values. Comprising texts written by Geraldo de Barros, that help understand his positioning in relation to art, the book includes a series of unpublished interviews conducted by Michel Favre with Thomaz Farkas, Hermelindo Fiaminghi, Augusto de Campos and Paulo Herkenhoff, a collection of valuable testimonials on the artist from the multifaceted view of his peers
