Wildflowers, grasses & other plants of the Northern Plains and Black Hills
There are about 2,000 species of flowering plants native to the northern plains and Black Hills of the United States. Of these species, 312 have been chosen as characteristic representatives for this book. This region, roughly 600 square miles, includes the western parts of Minnesota and Iowa, all of North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska, and eastern parts of Wyoming and Montana
