TRICHOPTERA OF NEW ZEALAND: II. The present status of R. J. Tillyard's species of New Zealand Trichoptera, with notes on the type specimens
Type specimens, from New Zealand and Chatham Islands, of species described by R. J. Tillyard, are identified, recorded, and redescribed when necessary. Helicopsyche howesi Till, is confirmed as a separate species; the genus Triplectidina Mosely is redescribed on the basis of characters of the type species, T. oreolimnetes (Till.) ; two forms are recognised in the ♁ genitalia of Dolophilodes (Hydrobiosella) stenocerca (Till.) ; Hydrobiosis lindsayi Till, is re-established as a valid species; and Synchorema zelandica Mosely is synonymised with S. zygonsura Till
