Account book, 1792-1861

Records debits and credits accrued by Cook from 1792 to 1823. The volume was later used by other family members to note miscellaneous accounts. Cook made a wide variety of wooden items including chairs, shafts for wagons, wheels, bedsteads, bread trays, rolling pins, rakes, and quills. References are also made to lights and sashes. He performed such activities as framing, sawing logs, putting rockers on chairs, and making the heads of rakes. Mention is also made of agricultural activities and products. Many of the later entries in the volume have to do with making and washing shirts
