Low-temperature properties of antiferromagnetic GdRhxSny, compound
Magnetic and electric resistivity measurements on single crystals of GdRh1.07Sn4.21 compound are performed. The compound is antiferromagnetic with a Néel temperature TN = 11.6 K. The temperature dependence of resistivity has four temperature regions: T3/2, T², T, and ln T. The data are considered in terms of coexistence of local moment antiferromagnetism of the Gd atoms and localized spin fluctuations (lsf) or itinerant electron ferromagnetism of the Rh atoms.In Einkristallen von GdRh1,07Sn4,21 werden magnetische Messungen und Messungen des elastischen Widerstands durchgeführt. Die Verbindung ist antiferromagnetisch mit einer Néel-Temperatur TN = 11,6 K. Die Temperaturabhängigkeit des Widerstands hat vier Temperaturbereiche: T3/2, T², T und ln T. Die Werte werden mit der Koexistenz von lokalen antiferromagnetischen Momenten der Gd-Atome und lokalisierten Spin-Fluktuationen (lsf) oder mit itinerantem Elektronen-Ferromagnetismus der Rh-Atome diskutiert
