During the heatwave summer of 1976 the remains of a bomber emerge from Romney Marsh. It belonged to an American squadron stationed in Norfolk and ID on the six dead bodies gave positive identification. But defence files show that the plane did not go missing during the war, and the dead men are still very much alive
