ABS-S:2 : AAMR Adaptive Behavior Scale : school
Designed to assess the current functioning of children being evaluated for evidence of mental retardation, for evaluating adaptive behavior characteristics of children with autism, and for differentiating children with behavior disorders who require special education assistance from those with behavior problems who can be educated in regular class programs. Part one covers independent functioning, physical development, economic activity, language development, numbers and time, prevocational/vocational activity, self-direction, responsibility, and socialization. Part two covers social behavior, conformity, trustworthiness, stereotyped and hyperactive behavior, self-abusive behavior, social engagement, and disturbing interpersonal behavior. Administered individually. Testing time, 15-30 min
