Shankar had promised his dying mother that he would marry her friend's daughter, Pinky, and thus fulfill her dream. He goes to Rampur to look for her and gets a job. The owner of the building where Shankar lives hates him and tries different tricks to trap him and make him leave. Eventually, he succeeds and Shankar is trapped.
