Ameera moves from Sabah to an elite neighborhood in Kuala Lumpur. She attends a private college, and is selected as the class representative. Daniel's friends however feel that Daniel, being a college sportsman, is more qualified for the position. This dissatisfaction causes disunity, breaking up the class into two factions. Ameera meanwhile is fast gaining popularity for her beauty, intelligence and personality. Daniel makes a wager with his friends, that he will be able to win Ameera's heart within two weeks. When Ameera finds out about the bet, she and Daniel became enemies, despite having already developed mutual feelings for one another. Meanwhile on the homefront, Daniel's parents separate, and Daniel is forced to transfer to another college
