Using the sea chanties and rhymes of Mother Goose, an illustrator tells "the story of the three-masted sailing ship 'La Jeune Française', built in Honfleur around 1830, and follow her on her maiden voyage to New York and home again by way of Dartmouth, England." Honfleur and Dartmouth shared a rise and decline as commerce shifts and wars and expeditions changed the traffic on the seas.
