Liz Prince's "Journal Comics" series chronicles her entire year of 2016, each issue a monthly compilation of comics excerpts of her daily life. The February issue discusses snow days, progressing in mental health issues, trying beet soda, playing Super Mario and Legend of Zelda, the loss of an eight year friendship, changing how she draws herself after a haircut, and trips to visit her brother in Providence and her husband's family in South Florida. The cover depicts Liz and her husband shoveling snow outside their home and the back cover shows them lounging poolside in Florida. The cover is printed on shimmering metallic purple cardstock. The zine is palm sized and rectangular with digitally inked illustrations printed in black and white. -- Nayla Delgado
