In this dramatic postcard, the image of a nurse dressed in white, emerges from a black background. There is a large red cross on her chest and one on the edge of her veil. She looks directly and somberly at the viewer. Above and below her image, in white print, is a poem: "Si a los que quieren la guerra/se les hiciera luchar/ya se guardarian mucho/tal torpeza realizar. Camillera, camillera soy/donde cae un herido allí voy/ni las balas ni el rugido del cañon/han logrado que yo olvide/mi sagrada obligación."
