Muktabodha on-line digital library
Catalog of digitized 19th and 20th century manuscripts and publications of Hindu texts collected from libraries and private collections. Stemming from Muktabodha's mission to preserve the scriptural texts related to the Tantric and Agamic traditions as well as India's oral tradition of Vedic chanting and the ritual and philosophical knowledge associated with it, the collection includes Vedic Shrauta ritual and medieval Shaivite manuscripts, texts of Kashmir Shaivism and Hindu Tantric traditions, Agamic scriptures, Yoga Upanishads, and the Shivasamhita. The digitized texts are listed by title, author, or subject. Alternatively, the search engine can be used to search for words or phrases across the collection. Some texts can be viewed in Unicode, Velthuis, Harvard-Kyoto, or CSX+ transliterations of Bengali, Devanaagarii, Grantha, Newari, and other scripts. Others can be viewed in DjVu or PDF format, some of which offer English introductions. In order to support the inclusion of the Muktabodha Digital Library in humanities library and archival catalogs and finding aids, full metadata descriptions of the collection are provided in MARCXML, Encoded Archival Description, and Dublin Core formats
