The majority of the collection, 1907, 1946, and undated, documents the academic career of Minor at University High School, Chicago (Ill.), 1907, 1912-1917, and 1921-1922; Kalamazoo Central High School, Kalamazoo (Mich.), 1921-1924; and Central Michigan University (CMU), 1924-1946. The high school materials are mainly tests and some syllabi for the many classes he taught, and a few pieces of correspondence. The CMU academic materials include: tests for many CMU courses; meeting minutes and related materials of the CMU. Curriculum Committee; CMU. departments of History and Social Sciences correspondence; correspondence to Professor Claude S. Larzelere; and meeting minutes of various committees. Also included are the lists of members, constitutions, and related correspondence, 1927-1942, of the CMU. Cliophiles Club, a student history organization, and a 1945 student research paper on Ora Labora, a German communal settlement which existed in Huron County (Mich.) from 1862 to 1871. Of particular interest are the correspondence, notes, and related materials documenting the League of Nations Association assemblies, 1929-1935 and 1939, as well as Bureau of Naturalization Educational Record Cards, 1916-1924, for twelve immigrant men who took night courses from Professor Minor while he taught in Kalamazoo. Personal Materials in the collection include: Biographical Information on Minor and his family, 1924, 1927, 1934 (copies); a few Publications that Minor wrote; Correspondence with the Boys Brotherhood Republic in Chicago, a reform organization for juvenile delinquents, 1914 and 1916; and budgets for the Minor family, 1921 and 1923
