PiCarta
PiCarta is een geïntegreerde database van titelbeschrijvingen afkomstig uit de Nederlandse Centrale Catalogus (NCC) en Online Contents (OLC). Via deze geïntegreerde database vindt u niet alleen monografieën, tijdschriften en tijdschriftartikelen, maar ook Internet-bronnen, geluidsmateriaal, brieven, kaarten, etc. - PiCarta is a portal database that allows simultaneous multi-database searching. Contained are: 1. NCC (separate access also possible):the Dutch central Catalogue. This union catalogue contains the bibliographic records and locations of ca. 7 million books and 350.000 articles in more than 400 Dutch libraries. 2. Online Contents (separate access also possible): bibliographic database with tables of content and bibliographic records of more than 15.000 periodicals in all sciences. Part of the database are also general non-scientific journals. All journals are contained in the collections of Dutch libraries. The database is build from September 1992 onwards, is daily updated, and is annulaly extended with more than 2 million article descriptions. 3. NetFirst: a catalogue of internet resources. The database was started in 1995 and at the moment contains 150.000 records
