Pinhook to Brazil
Adam and Frederick Hendrix came with their cousin to America in 1609. They landed at Manhattan Island and were the original settlers of New Amsterdam, now the City of New York. They came from Holland with Captain Henry. Frederick died in 1686. Several of the succeeding generations, presumably, emigrated to the vicinity of Baltimore, Maryland. From Baltimore, families went to the Carolinas and can now be found in most every state in the Union. The family of John Hendrix and Nancy Whitaker are all living in Indiana, mostly in Brazil
