Psychoeducational profile revised (PEP-R)

Part of a series of materials for assessing and treating autistic and developmentally disabled children. The PEP-R is an inventory of behaviors and skills designed to identify uneven and idiosyncratic learning patterns. Provides information on developmental functioning in imitation, perception, fine motor, gross motor, eye-hand integration, cognitive performance, and cognitive-verbal areas. Also identifies degrees of behavioral abnormality in relating and affect (cooperation and human interest), play and interest in materials, sensory responses, and language. Looks at both developmental delays and atypical behaviors in autistic children. Designed as an educational tool for planning individualized special educational programs. Revision of the instrument that has been used for over 20 years to assess skills and behaviors of children with autism and communicative disabilities who function between the ages of 6 months and 7 years and are 12 years of age or younger
