Included is an agreement of November 6, 1959, between the United Nations and the Republic of Korea for the establishment and maintenance of a United Nations memorial cemetery in Korea; and correspondence and memoranda, 1952-1973, with the Republic of Korea, the United States Embasssy in Pusan, the United States Army, the Army of the Republic of Korea, and others concerning the cemetery. Also included are reports of interments, statistics on visitors to the cemetery, requests from parents and others for wreaths to be placed on graves, diagrams of grave markers, correspondence and memoranda concerning maintenance of the cemetery, name rosters, and grave plot charts. Of note are many files on graves which contain forms that give information on name, grade, army, race, religion, cause and place of death, and cemetery location for Prisoner of War Cemeteries #1 and #2 and the Masan Prisoner of War Cemetery; name roster and reinterment roster for Cheju-Do Cemetery; and plot charts and name rosters for Koje-Do Cemetery
