An outline biography of Radowitzky, a Ukrainian immigrant and a key figure in Argentinian anarchism, became known for his assassination of Buenos Aires police chief Ramón Falcón following the violent police repression of a May 1, 1909 anarchist march there, an act for which he was sentenced to serve a life term at the penal colony in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego. He later fought alongside the Republicans in the battle against Francisco Franco's fascist uprising
