The Bucknell Auditory Imagery Scale : assessing individual differences
An individual differences measure for auditory imagery, the Bucknell Auditory Imagery Scale (BAIS), is presented as a means of assessing both the vividness and control of people's auditory images. Study 1 showed that the BAIS had a high internal consistency reliability, a fairly explicable factor structure, and good construct validity. Study 2 explored the predictive validity of the BAIS with two criterion tasks involving pitch judgment in familiar tunes and loudness comparisons between environmental sounds
