The Hacker Star negotiation
Hacker/Star Software Development Corporation is a small, moderately successful firm, started seven years ago by programmer Alan Hacker and dentist Stanley Starr. Hacker is President and CEO. Starr provided the capital and serves as Chairman of the Board. A dispute has arisen over the ownership of a new product, PowerScreen, developed by Hacker against Starr's wishes and without his knowledge. Starr feels that PowerScreen belongs to the company. Hacker argues that he owns it personally. This program traces the steps in negotiating a resolution to this conflict
