An actor wants to write and direct a film, but has writer's block. In addition, he is too neurotic and self-centered to stay in a relationship. A year after manipulating his girlfriend into leaving him so that he can be free, he has still made no headway in writing his screenplay nor has had much success in his desired romantic adventures.
